you hi how's it going ready yeah okay so we are going to check out this really cool Hydra spider let's go all right let's take a look at you you I got to think that a big question is is how the Hydra spider can transform into a boat from a vehicle car vehicle yeah it's pretty cool and it's pretty you know creates a lot of attention out on Lake definitely on it when you see this car driving right into the water so you know what we've got is the lemon Shandy hydra spider it's got a corvette ls3 motor in it has about 500 horsepower and and what it does 18 feet long 7 feet wide so it's definitely a lot bigger than your average car you're driving out on the road it really doesn't do justice until you see it in person you really see it so you know the cool thing about the whole bottom is a shape like the whole of a boat what you do is you just drive it right down into the water kind of cruise on out in the water you throw it in neutral you raise the wheels back up into the wheel wells on it you switch on the jet boat motor so it's not your standard like propeller motor that you see on a boat it's actually a jet propulsion motor on that and then the transformation is complete you've gone from car to boat you're ready to start cruising the lake it speeds up to 55 miles an hour Wow we are out here on beautiful Reed's lake in East Grand Rapids but this is just one of dozens of places where you are gonna have this vehicle for people to really just experience for themselves oh yeah the great thing about it is we're gonna be throughout Michigan all summer long at all the different Lake communities different Lake areas really trying to get people to really engage you know try the beer come out check it out you
