weight-loss application that tries to
make Fitness fun it functions more like
a game that has ranks experience points
badges and other rewards you can earn as
you workout it also comes with activity
tracking endomondo is not only fun to
say but it's a great fitness app you can
track your fitness and performance get
pep talks from friends and there are a
ton of other features it's among the
most popular fitness apps out there the
fit notes is an application for those
who want to do things the old-fashioned
way it allows you to keep track of what
exercises you do and how many reps of
each one that you did it's totally free
to use and it even has an exercise
database google fit is a relatively new
platform but it's gaining features very
quickly it has the best Android wear
support of any fitness app so far and
includes performance tracking access of
fitness data and it's totally free to
use ingress is a unique game that has
you walking around hacking portals and
engaging in missions this isn't a
fitness app on the face of it but the
entire game relies upon walking around
which is good for your fitness it's also
really fun Jeff it is a personal trainer
style application that includes an
exercise database of over 1300 exercises
using that you can plan your fitness
regimen and keep track of your
performance and fitness there's also a
delightful social aspect Nike Plus is a
surprisingly simple fitness application
given its namesake it contains about a
hundred workout regimens that include
workout videos which is kind of nice
there is also some bare-bones fitness
tracking and customization pocket yoga
is among the most solid yoga centric
applications out there it features over
200 positions complete with voice
instructions and animations to show you
how to do them you can also log your
yoga sessions and planned yoga workouts
the progression is a recommendation from
our readers and it's pretty solid
it contains built-in exercise regimens
which can be altered to fit your needs
it tracks your performance
and challenges you to do better each
time you use it RunKeeper is a great
fitness application that centers around
runners it has route planning fitness
tracking and you can use a variety of
hardware to track your heart rate it
also integrates into other fitness
applications for a more complete
experience runtastic is a powerhouse of
a fitness app it supports a lot of
hardware including Android wear and
includes GPS tracking performance
analysis fitness tracking integration
with big-name music apps and a whole lot
more sports tracker is a good option for
runners and cyclists you can track and
analyze your performance with some nifty
graphs and other features include
mapping features and time and distance
calculators it's simple but it's highly
rated and it's worth a shot
Strava is a fitness application with a
strong social component so you and your
friends can keep pace with each other it
also includes other basic fitness
features and the app features a clean
easy to use interface sworkit is another
personal trainer style fitness app that
lets you plan and log exercises it tries
to work around the idea of you not being
able to make it to the gym and include
stuff like yoga as well you can buy the
paid version for a few more features
workout trainer is a fitness application
that aims to be an all-in-one solution
you can customise workouts view
instructional videos and it even has a
strong social aspect it's a fairly
comprehensive app but does require a
subscription to get all of the best
features if you think about it an
application like zombies run makes a lot
of sense it's a game that makes you walk
or run in order to unlock new parts of
the storyline the more you run or the
more you walk the more you can do inside
of the game it's a fun way to stay in
shape and that about does it for this
