all right what's going on Android lovers this is clayton over at Android a 30 calm today i'm very pleased to bring you a rom review of the team vicious 4.1 jelly bean build for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus verizon version now i have the verizon galaxy nexus right here i flashed the rom and i haven't done anything but i'm going to boot up right now so we have a first look at the boot up animation and the entire setup of android jelly bean as you can see we have our awesome new jelly bean nexus looking boot up animation here really like in that now also this rom is rooted as well because we flashed our super SU ok now anyways this is our very first initial setup as you can see we have our new our battery and data icons up there there we go it says do you have a google account if you use gmail answer yes i'm going to go ahead and log in you guys here we go the setup is complete we're going to walk through our very first look of the android jelly bean OS we have our first initial prompts here make yourself at home you can put your favorite apps here ok we have our wallpaper we've got our power widget here i've got our new google search bar and we tap and hold it is not movable to move our clock widget better folder here with all of our google apps organize your apps with folders very cool our camera go into our app tray here comes preloaded with currents we've got google earth on there as well that local our google plus there's whether you see we are rooted in fact we have our super SU i'm going to go ahead and update my boundaries right now so very cool stuff so we can refresh right here got our three navigation bar options here we've got our recent apps our home and our batch i got the new layout of the widgets they've all got this little a black or gray border around them go ahead and add a gmail widget for the heck of it grab it and we can move to the other screens I'll place it here we'll just choose the inbox test out a new voice feature here hey man how's it going meet me today at five at the burger king there we go cool and tap the pause go back to our keyboard with a click of a button their car emoticons all our different punctuation there if we tap and hold all our different emotion cons go back and if you noticed when the keyboard is up we can just simply press the navigation bar to go down go back got our brand new notification here and swipe to remove the notifications remove the updates available check out the settings from here at our Wi-Fi Bluetooth data usage as usual got NFC go ahead and go to our data usage everything is just fine go to our battery and look up the battery manager here location services we got our accounts bar which is really nice that's never been there all of our system options we got a developer options here desktop backup password that's pretty cool we have the stay awake screen while charging USB debugging show touches show GPU view updates show surface updates fourth GPU read fourth GPU rendering show CPU usage profile GPU rendering a lot of cool new options go to our about phone we got android version for dot one let's see if we have an easter egg we have an easter egg folks very cool got all of the lands right jelly beans going around we can move them around very very fun easter egg but use this as my screensaver just wipe all these uh little jelly beans away very fun go back also of our build number is JR and 84 d got a kernel here from july jun 19 excuse me is we'll go back check out some more stuff here we've got a roaming indicator off have a nice clock here up in our notification bar and drag it got our screen dimming a little bit when we pull it down we'll have our new jelly bean wallpapers if we tap and hold you can choose a wallpaper from the gallery live wallpaper or wallpapers and all of our different jelly bean wallpapers here a lot of them looked awesome loving the look of the new jelly bean wallpapers this one especially we'll try it the new layout of YouTube for the Android jelly bean here we've got our brand new logo discovered add more channels to file here ok anyways we'll just go back very cool this is almost like the Google Play layout the mobile google play app anyways we have our channel here channel feed from YouTube you have recommended trending live autos comedy all of our cool stuff in our settings as well go back and we'll check out our Google+ here we go check out our android authority here cool layout go back to our stream or profile notifications very cool what else we got let's go to our market just play store cool layout here got little icons we got a little Andy and then some headphones a film strip a book check out our apps everything's a little more streamlined I like this a lot top paid featured categories very cool just going to go ahead and download an app and get root check I'm going to agree verify root access grant we are in fact rooted very very awesome if you saw there we have our menu coming up in the navbar here here's our menu option very cool we've got our glow we can actually hold the home button and then drag around with in this little like hemisphere here click Google when you do that you get to bring up the discovered google now information when you need it without searching for you leave work for example 55 minutes of work have you traffic on 101 very cool got our flight get google now yes i'm in awesome very cool stuff location service is off of course cards show up when you need them over time okay cool this is a very awesome feature anyways now that we've had a few apps open we'll just check out our recent apps here you can still swipe away like usual okay guys another cool feature is the offline maps you can actually search the maps here when you're not online it's got it stored I'm not going to use the location I'm just going to go ahead and skip go down cuz I'm starred locations there import it from my account some stuff and see ya tol alright guys well once again
