what's up guys lon here from Android 30
and I'm hanging out with Lenovo taking a
look at a couple of Lenovo's latest
budget smartphone so this is the 5k 5
and the k5 plus for the most part
they're exactly the same phone but there
are a couple of notable differences the
regular k5 has a 5-inch 720p display and
a snapdragon 415 processor whereas the
k5 plus has a snapdragon 616 and a 1080p
display but otherwise they're pretty
much identical it's entirely made of
plastic which allows the backside to be
removed to give you access to the
battery and the micro SD card slot which
supports up to 32 gigs of additional
storage aside from that the k5 and k 5
plus come with 2 gigs of ram 16 gigs of
internal storage a 5 megapixel camera on
the front and a 13 megapixel camera on
the rear the battery inside is a 27 50
milliamp ire cell which is actually
quite large for a phone of this size and
again it's removable so you can easily
swap it out for a fresh one if you want
it's running on android 5.1 with a
Novo's custom software which should be a
pretty familiar experience for anyone
who has used a Lenovo phone in the past
but the biggest takeaway with this phone
is the price the regular k5 starts at 1
29.99 and the k5 plus will run you only
150 bucks although there's currently no
plans for us availability this has been
a quick first look of the k5 and k 5
plus check out the website at android
corner comm for more and keep it tuned
to the YouTube channel for the rest of
our mobile Congress 2016 coverage
