hey what's going on everybody it's nirav
here and uh pers unveiled a new
smartphone aimed at today's selfie
generation the Oppo f1 aims to combine
excellent hardware and software features
into a smartphone fit forever every
camera need but does it actually succeed
let's take a quick look camera is where
the Oppo f1 is meant to stand out and
this is where we begin despite being a
much more affordable smartphone the f1
brings the camera from the Oppo r7 with
some welcome improvements to the
hardware the Wraith sports a 13
megapixel ISO cell sensor from Samsung
that offers phase detection autofocus
with a focus time just 0.1 seconds along
with opposed own pure image camera
platform and arranger filters probably
the most interesting of the filter
options is called Ultra HD which
combines four images and compresses the
data to make a 50 megapixel large image
so that's the rear camera now to the
front and is this smartphone really fit
for a selfie generation the front camera
is an 8 megapixel sensor with a wide f
2.0 aperture lens and a quarter inch
sensor and for them for most part the f1
does seem to take quite good selfies
like the rear camera there's a lot of
filters and options and one that you're
likely to use quite a lot is palm
capture which lets you take an image by
opening your palm in front of the camera
it works pretty much all the time
but while the software does say it also
available with the rear camera it's
actually not so that's the camera in a
nutshell but what about the rest of the
phone
given the 229 euro price tag you can
pretty much expect mid-range hardware
and this includes an snapdragon 616
processor 3 gigabytes of RAM and 16
gigabytes of storage the front sports a
5 inch 720p display with 2.5 D glass and
Gorilla Glass 4 protection and this is
certainly impressive given the quite low
price tag unlike many other devices at
this price point however the Oppo f1 is
made of premium materials and these
include a brushed metal finish and at
least in the hand the phone certainly
feels more
Premium than its price tag might suggest
so there you have it guys a really quick
look at the new Opera f1 the f1 will be
available in gold and rose gold
depending on which market you order it
from and it can be pre-ordered right now
in Europe which is $229 directly from
