hey guys ash here from mwc 2015 a somewhat unexpected announcement alongside the big s6 and s6 edge news stories Samsung revealed the new and updated version of gear VR this VR unit produced in conjunction with oculus is another revision in refining the idea that originally released alongside the Galaxy Note 4 the headset is fifteen percent smaller all the while being lighter and more comfortable given that this experience is untethered this comes as good news there's now a USB port on the bottom which acts as a pass-through so you can keep the phone going while to using the unit finally there's a silent fan which aims to keep the unit from overheating and to stop any fogging that may occur in the lens we have cosmetic changes to the touchpad has been recessed so it's easy to locate and the back button is now more tactile owners of the first generation shouldn't feel left out as the experience is largely the same just a more refined overall the experience is fantastic for what it is providing an untethered experience and an inclination of what VR could bring and not just for gaming the gear VR presents an ideology that is only a complement to the bigger and more powerful oculus rift thanks for listening guys and stay tuned for more coverage from mwc 2015
