today the HTC event in London they announced a brand new sensation 4g a phone we have been hearing a lot about in the past few months under the name pyramid just as we expected this looks to be a major flagship for HTC with the dual-core 1.2 gigahertz Snapdragon processor and 768 megabytes of RAM it also has a 4.3 inch 540 by 960 qHD display a rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with both dual LED flash and support for recording HD video at up to 1080p along with a VGA front-facing camera the Sensation 4G will ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0 pre-installed Gingerbread is a welcome addition and the HTC Sense 3 interface looks to have some key improvements over previous iterations with a new smart lock screen it allows you to display live notifications such as weather and stocks along with being able to launch apps straight from the lock screen there also is a new HTC watch application that allows you to purchase movies straight from your phone and have them download to the included a gigabyte microSD card the sensation for G's sports solid aluminum construction like many other recent HTC phones meaning you should get solid build quality without sacrificing size or weight the 4G part of the phone comes courtesy of the HSPA band radio allowing you to get 4G speeds on many carriers worldwide overall the Sensation 4G looks like an outstanding addition to the HTC line of Android phones with the all-important dual-core processor high resolution display and a seriously impressive camera it will be on sale in Germany the UK and several other markets in Europe in May on Vodafone spraying two other carriers a few weeks later before finally making its way to the United States this summer so what do you think about the new HTC Sensation 4G be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below
