hey guys exam you with a very quick tutorial showing you how to disable caps lock on your Windows Vista or Windows 7 machine right now as I'm sure most of you guys know cats lock is not entirely the most useful button on the keyboard and I know on more than one occasion people thought I was shouting it then when I accidentally hit the caps lock instead of shift so if you'd like to go ahead and just disable caps lock or change it to a more useful button go ahead and show you how so all you need to do is go ahead and go I will have a link in the description to a download we can go ahead and download five different files all on a zip folder now basically what you do with these did you pick whichever one you want depending on what you want to happen to your cats lock so you can go ahead and change it to a control key you can continue to a shift key you can go ahead and you know disable caps lock altogether switch there's several different things you can do all you need to do is go ahead and just double click and enable to whichever one of these you like now I've used my I've changed mine to shift it works pretty simply and you know it's definitely a big improvement as you know I don't have to worry about people thinking I'm yelling at them anymore now the way to do this is very simple of course you go ahead if you want for example just change this you go ahead and just click run you just click yes with the registry editor and then it will go ahead and ask yes or no now I've already done this I'm gonna go ahead and click no but all you have to do is click yes and you'll be good to go now as soon as you went ahead and done this shouldn't take just a moment then you will just need to go ahead and restart your computer and when your computer turns back on you will have your newly disabled cats lock so guys I hope this tutorial is helpful for you and if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave them in the comment section below anyway guys thanks for watching
