what's up you guys always hear from Navy wheeze mcintosh YouTube channel doing guest appearance on Doug in three three three oh three so today I got an app review of pocket casts for the iPhone so this application costs $1.99 in the u.s. app store and it's probably one of my favorite applications right now so what exactly is pocket cast well pocket cast is an application that features all of your favorite podcasts all in one application for you to stream listen to or watch at the bottom of the app you'll find four tabs the first tab is for your library of podcasts second one is for now playing third one is for your content search and the fourth one is for settings now this application features a good amount of content to download or stream from you can search different podcasts by network or by category or just by spotlight search networks include twit tbh 5x5 seen on tv' revision3 and many more in just a point now this application isn't specifically meant for technology people those are just a podcast I like to listen to but there are many more podcasts like business governments stuff like that and this the podcaster we're looking for isn't in the application you could also import by PD URL so if you had the PD URL of the podcast you like you just type that into the application and you can still get your podcast into your library I think a podcaster library is as easy as one two three just find the podcast you want click on it and then choose which option you want to use it for you could use it for video small and video large video HD or audio and just click Add then it would just automatically be loaded onto your library now the supplication offers many different settings for different podcasts by holding down the podcast you can simply delete it or mess with the settings when you go to settings you can change the artwork of the podcast to anything you like from your photo library so you can easily just download the different image from Google Images Dropbox it to your phone and then change the image you also have different notification settings like badges and custom text alerts so it's a pretty awesome setting feature within the application for all your different podcasts so once you have your podcasts loaded up to your library you can easily stream it by a Wi-Fi 3G reg or even download it by the cloud so you can watch it or listen to it offline when streaming over Wi-Fi and I found speeds to be almost instantly as if the video was pre-loaded on your device without actually streaming it it was just amazing feeding out any other network application I've seen like revision3 seen on TV or even other streaming video applications like Netflix well probably surprised me of the most was how fast HD video streamed on this thing it never buffered between video which was amazing HT loaded practically instantly while playing even while buffering in full speed in HD beating out any other applications like revision3 or Netflix which is pretty surprising just because I'm watching revision3 on pocket casts which is faster than revision3 zone application kind of a paradox overall it's only $1.99 in the US a store and it actually works for Android as well so you could download by the Android Market if you want to try it out you can go ahead and download the lite version which only allows you to listen to five podcast but it's still pretty awesome and if you like the lite version go ahead and definitely purchase the full version if you enjoyed this app review please be sure to give it a thumbs up if you'd like to see more content like this be sure to check out my youtube channel Louise Macintosh or youtube.com slash Louise McIntosh alright post a bunch of other technology videos so thank you guys for watching thanks to Austin for having me on the channel and I'll see you guys hopefully next time
