Ericsson's new lineup of Android phones
announced in Mobile World Congress 2011
the first zone they announced is the
xperia neo which should slot solidly in
the mid-range below the Xperia Arc the
deal will support a 3.7 inch display
with resolution of 480 x 854 with sony
bravia graphics some of the specs
include a 1 gigahertz second generation
snapdragon processor along with a
rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with LED
flash and a front-facing 2-megapixel
camera the xperia neo runs a customized
android 2.3 gingerbread build and will
be available in silver blue and red next
they announced the Xperia Pro which is
very similar to the neo with the
addition of ass landscape slide out
keyboard that means the same 3.7 inch
display 1 gigahertz Snapdragon processor
along with the same pair of cameras and
Android 2.3 lastly they announced one of
the most anticipated smartphones of
Mobile World Congress the Sony Xperia
Play the Xperia Play is the first
PlayStation sweet certified device with
up to 50 games that will be available at
launch along with coming bundled with a
legendary ps1 game it features a layout
similar to the PSP go with slide out
controls however with the addition of a
four inch touchscreen display it
features the same second generation 1
gigahertz Snapdragon processor along
with the qualcomm adreno 205 GPU it runs
a customized version of Android 2.3
Gingerbread and has a rear-facing 5
megapixel camera the Xperia Play will be
available in march in europe and
launches on verizon and early spring for
the united states
