alright guys I'm making this video because I need your help with creating a new logo for the channel the current logo was created somewhat hastily back in the day when the channel was undergoing its rebrand so now I'm looking for something a bit more permanent and iconic to represent the channel which is why I'm now kicking off in international logo design contest as long as your country's local law allows it pretty much anyone worldwide can participate and before you ask let's talk prizes the contestant who submits a complete ready to print logo will be awarded their choice of $1,000 cash or an Amazon gift card in the same amount while contestants who submit a logo concept that I really like but needs additional work to make it suitable for final use will be awarded their choice of $200 cash or an Amazon gift card in the same amount circling back to the amazingly mind-blowing logo that doesn't exist yet I'm gonna rattle off some basic things that I'm looking for but all the official rules and requirements are linked in the description below so make sure you read and follow all of them if you want your submission to be eligible for starters I'm keeping an open mind for the design itself but I tend to gravitate towards logos that are simple clean not necessarily tech related could be abstract or whatever and preferably something that will work without text so an image or graphic based logo would probably be best also keep in mind that the logo will eventually live on t-shirts and other merchandise so make sure to ask yourself as you're designing your logo would I actually wear this as for the technical artwork requirements again definitely check the link below for all the fine details but here are some basics high resolution raster art is good but vector art is best with Adobe Illustrator files being ideal other file extensions that work include EPS SVG and some PDF you'll also need to submit all entries as JPEGs at least eight-and-a-half by eleven inches but keep your originals in the format you created the art in since we'll need the original format to work with if your design gets chosen send entries less than ten megabytes as an email attachment to bit wit logo at gmail.com by August 15th that is the deadline for submissions and shortly after I'll reach out to the winners directly via email that's pretty much it and I'll reiterate this one last time follow the link below if you plan on entering so you don't miss any of the requirements apart from that I can't wait to see all of your submissions and I'm super excited to bring a cool new logo to the channel designed by one of you guys so thank you in advance to everyone participating and I'll see y'all in the next
