64-bit apps, the Lenovo P90 is ready

2015-01-05
an android phone for asia this one comes in white black and lava red I'm Jessica Valcourt frisina here at CES 2015 in Las Vegas this is the lenovo p90 but what you might be more interested in knowing is that the lenovo p90 is the first smartphone that's powered by both Intel's Atom processor 64 bit and lte-advanced with the new modem translation you're going to get some robust computing power for gaming and even everyday tasks basically by the time that more 64-bit apps come around this phone will already be ready to handle them now it does run Android 4.4 KitKat it's got a 5.5 inch 1080p HD display this is a pretty big phone but it is fairly slim kind of squared-off edges and a soft touch finish on the back at least for this red version so it is fairly nice to hold on the back we've got a 13 megapixel camera with dual-led flash and on the front is a 5 megapixel camera the p90 does have optical image stabilization so you should get some clear shots out of it than you would otherwise the battery is on the larger side with a 4,000 milliampere hour battery so that's good there is no pricing for the p90 yet but we do know it is coming to Asia not to the US UK or Australia so if you want to see it you're going to have to buy it there I'm Jessica dual-core for cnet this is then the Lenovo p 90 here at CES 2015 for everything we've been doing here at the show visit CNN com
