you're looking at a ninety eight inch 8k
TV LG says this is going to be the first
production ready 8k television they say
is going to ship sometime in 2016 no
pricing yet it's going to be a little
bit more than $8,000 though a que
resolution gives you four times the
resolution of 4k and sixteen times the
number of pixels as 1080p the number is
astronomical 7680 by 40 320 pixels
that's more than 33 million pixels or
almost 100 million sub pixels lots of
pixels I look really closely at the
screen of this you can see the tiny
little pixels again there's no 8k
content available right now this TV
actually accepts 8k via an MHL Super MHL
connection so there's really no HDMI
spec that can handle it either but of
course there you will be able to play 4k
and 1080p content upscale it to the
resolution of the television itself of
course it has HDR compatibility LG says
that it can increase the peaks and use
unused electricity to improve the
contrast of this television of course
this TV is 98 inches so it's going to be
ridiculously expensive when it comes out
later this year LG does say it's
shipping again the first production
ready 98 H 8k television LG's 98 uh90
