hey guys this is bryan bennett for cnet
and right now we're taking a first look
at the capresso mt 600 coffee maker now
this coffee maker offers you know decent
amount of features and a pretty nice
design for just a hundred and thirty
dollars now if you look at this machine
the first thing I notice about it is it
has this very slick brushed metal design
here also nice is that it gives you the
ability to either use the supplied
permanent gold filter or use type for
paper filters also pretty slick is that
the water tower which holds ten cups of
water also has this really easy to read
water level indicator on the side on the
right side you have this little tiny
operation panel here you can press
buttons here to engage the auto mode
program the clock and the brew time so
you can wake up to your fresh brew Java
it's a little small though so you gotta
kind of pay attention what you're doing
also nice is you get a filter which is
inside the water tank it holds a
charcoal pod this baby bruised 10 cups
at a time it can manage to do this in
under eight minutes which is pretty good
also nice is you can pull out the
thermal carafe while it's brewing in
case you can't wait for that cup of
coffee and I know that's my problem in
the morning now if you're expecting a
truly transcendent cup of coffee from
this bad boy I'm afraid that's not going
to happen it essentially gives you a
decent cup of coffee with you know
certain amount of flavor pretty good
it's very drinkable but it's not going
to blow you away for that you're gonna
have to spend at least two hundred
dollars and up for a premium machine
from either Tecna for more bonavita i'm
brian bennett foreseen it
