hey guys Sharon Vaknin for sina com at
CES 2012 showing off a new app for iOS
and Android called aurasma now this
augmented reality app did come out last
year but at CES 2012 they're debuting it
with 3d aurasma lets you point your
phone at an object like a magazine and
the object on the cover will come to
life the technology is so good that if
you move that object around the objects
that are augmented will actually shift
around with you another example is this
scene here at the cnet booth we've
programmed Aurasma to show a video when
the cnet logo is scanned now this
technology is pretty awesome but what's
the point well advertisers are probably
going to be the first to jump on it but
you can imagine a future where you might
scan the pages of a book and those
objects come to life like this dinosaur
here the app is already available for
iOS and Android and it's free so you can
start creating your own augmented
reality scenes right away for Xena calm
I'm Sharon Vaknin at CES 2012
