no this is not the new iPad Mini this is the Huawei media pad m3 though it kind of looks like the iPad Mini for the 8 inch tablet has one thing the iPad doesn't well two things technically Harman Kardon speakers tablets aren't known for their speaker quality so try freshening to see a tablet that takes audio a little more seriously dialog during movies and vocals and songs sound crisp and clear however has to be expected bass is lacking performance wise it's one of the fastest Android tablets I've seen lately and one of the only ones that has a fingerprint scanner the tablet comes in Wi-Fi only an LTE capable models full US pricing hasn't been announced but the huawei media pad m3 is expected to start at 299 dollars that makes it slightly cheaper than the iPad Mini 4 which starts at 399 dollars if you're interested in a premium Android alternative to the iPad the huawei tablet is a great choice
