hi I'm David Connelly executive editor
for cnet.com and I'm here with the AT&T
loud speaker or actually it's called
loud speaker something like that because
it has a wandering apostrophe there at
the end of its name that's a little bit
bizarre but this is a Bluetooth speaker
as a mini bluetooth speaker sort of like
the jawbone jam box a little bit smaller
doesn't sound quite as good but it
actually sounds pretty good for its size
it gets about five hours of battery life
from a single charge you can take it
basically anywhere you go small enough
to fit into a bag it doesn't come with a
carrying case but it does have
speakerphone functionality you can
stream music from your Bluetooth
smartphone or tablet and you can also
talk on the phone obviously with that
speakerphone capability there is an
auxilary input in the back if you have a
non bluetooth device most smartphones
and tablets do have bluetooth these days
and it charges via USB you can charge it
via your computer or an actual AC
adapter that's included that's really
all there is to it as I said it sounds
pretty good at plays loud for its size
you don't want to run really base heavy
material through this not the best
speaker for something like Skrillex or
again a really heavy bass I would like
to see it about $20 less this retails
for $99.99 I'm David Carl and that's the
AT&T loud speaker portable bluetooth
speaker with speaker phone
