hello everybody its Linn law from CNET
and today I've got with me the NEC
terrain from A to Z as you can see the
terrain is more than just a regular
smartphone it's a waterproof handset
that satisfies military specs for shock
and dust resistance unfortunately this
does make it pretty bulky but then again
the device was designed more for
enterprise workers working out in the
field rather than your typical consumer
for instance the phone has VPN
capabilities a push-to-talk button here
for Direct Connect communication and
encryption security for a microSD card
the phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich and features a 3.1 inch
touchscreen with 640 by 480 pixel
resolution it has a 5 megapixel camera
in the back that can record 720p video
and a 0.3 megapixel camera in the front
powering the handset is a 1.5 gigahertz
dual-core processor from Qualcomm and a
1.9 ampere hour battery that has an
estimated talk time of up to 10 hours
you'll also see that it features a four
row onboard keyboard that sits above
dual front-facing speakers if you're
interested the handset is available from
the carrier for about a hundred dollars
if you sign a two-year contract again
i'm lynn and you've been checking out a
TTS NEC terrain
