hello i'm luke west wing for cnet's here
at the ephah tech trade show in berlin
we're taking a look at this it's the
acer iconia a 3 tablet so let's go over
the basics this tablet looks like a lot
that we've seen before it's got a 10.1
inch display it's running Android
version 4.2 and it has a quad-core 1.2
gigahertz processor on the inside around
the sides you get a few bonuses
including a hdmi connector for hooking
the tablet up to your TV and a microSD
port for bumping up the built-in storage
another quite cool feature is something
a circles intelli spin now what this
basically does is uses sensors inside
the tablet to rotate the display when
you pop it down on a flat surface that's
quite useful one downside is the screen
resolution this is a 1280 by 800 pixel
display and that's not as many pixels as
you will find on rival tablets like the
new Nexus 7 or the Nexus 10 one way the
tablet could make up for that deficiency
however is with its low price the Wi-Fi
version is going to start at 249 euros
which is pretty affordable so all things
considered we've got a fairly ordinary
10-inch tablet here here's hoping the
low price can redeem it on the quest
