Air Hogs introduces FPV flying to its DR1 racing drone line
2017-02-21
the dr1 fpv race drone from Air Hogs is
a palm-sized quadcopter with a camera in
front that will livestream video to a
phone you place in the included headset
the idea is that instead of flying by
line-of-sight like you would with other
toy drones you'd fly it using the
first-person view or fpv just like you
would with a full-size racing drone Air
Hogs made this one much easier to pilot
than a regular racer though so even
beginners can put on the headset and
start flying the kit comes with the
drone it's controller and fpv headset
but you'll of course have to supply the
phone the whole package will sell for
around a hundred dollars when it ships
later this year and if driving is more
your thing
there will be an fpv race car for a
hundred dollars that like the racing
drone will allow you to drive via
livestream from a camera on the car
