it's tough to stand out in the crowded
consumer drone market but this
definitely does it's the air block from
make block a DIY robotics learning
platform the modular drone uses magnetic
connectors to snap together to form a
hexacopter but you can just as easily
pull apart to form other designs you fly
it with a mobile app using joystick
controls or drag-and-drop blocks of code
to program the drones flight the body is
made for a lightweight foam that
protects the propeller blades so if it
does crash nothing should get hurt and
again the design is made to break a
party make block says the flight time is
about 6 minutes which is normal for a
cop - this size and the battery is
removable so you can keep building and
flying the air block is expected to ship
to its Kickstarter backers in February
but after that will be available for
$199
