world the voice control personal
assistant is coming to some Amazon fire
tablets as a software update and that
includes a new tablet just announced the
upgraded Fire HD 8 this new Fire HD 8
ships in two weeks on September 21st it
improves the performance of the old
model and improves the price it's only
$90 that's 60 bucks cheaper than the
previous version which had half the
storage but aside from crazy low prices
putting Alexa on the tablet may be the
biggest feature right now Alexa can only
be found on the smart speakers like the
echo and also on the fire TV Amazon has
not said exactly when the Alexa
assistant is arriving on tablets only
that the software update will be in the
coming months but this likely will not
be the end of her expansion into more
devices executives at Lenovo have been
talking to Amazon about the possibility
of getting the assistant on PCs so maybe
