I'm David Carr doughy and I'm here with the generically named amazonbasics portable bluetooth speaker the BT v1 this is a $60 wireless bluetooth speaker cells on Amazon obviously it's Amazon basics and it's actually a pretty good speaker for the money it sounds decent it offers pretty clean sound offers a decent amount of bass it does have a bass port on the back so if you put it up against a wall you get a little bit more bass it's a little hyped in the treble so it can sound a little bit grating with certain songs but all in all it's pretty good it doesn't distort on most tracks which is kind of a victory for these small Bluetooth speakers it doesn't have much in the way of extra features but it does have a built-in speakerphone it has buttons on the top for volume control as well as transport controls the skip forward skip back battery life is rated around 8 hours that's around average for these types of speakers and the range is around 30 feet which again is average for these types of speakers this obviously has a very simple design but the key thing about it is that while it looks a little bit generic it does manage not to look cheap and that's the key thing about the speaker $60 it doesn't look like a really cheap speaker one of the ways it does manage to avoid looking cheap is it does have this glossy finish that finish does show fingerprints but all in all it makes the speaker look a little bit snazzier I'll finish by saying well this may not be the greatest sounding mini bluetooth speaker out there it does sound better than many speakers in its price class as well as some speakers that cost more even upwards of $100 I'm David Carr know and that's the Amazon basics portable bluetooth speaker DTV one
