going to show you the new notification
features an Android lollipop one of the
most noticeable changes is that
notifications now appear on the lock
screen you can get a preview of the
alert by swiping down on each
notification if you tap it twice the
corresponding app will open wants to
unlock your screen lastly you can swipe
away any notification you no longer want
to see with lollipop google added heads
of notifications these are pop up alerts
that appear at the top of your screen
letting you know about incoming calls
messages alarms and more you can
interact with these alerts responding to
a message or rejecting a phone call or
swipe up to ignore them newly added
priority mode is one of five point O's
best features you can silence all put
your most important notifications
cutting out any excess distractions by
default phone calls texts and alarms
will still trigger notifications in
priority mode and you can also set other
apps notifications to appear as well to
turn it on you press one of the volume
keys and then select priority from the
menu you can choose how long priority
mode should stay on either for a few
hours or indefinitely there's also an
option to turn off every single alert so
nothing disturbs your device all of
these notification features are
available on Android lollipop which is
available now for select devices for
