WikiLeaks is at it again the site
released a brand new batch of documents
that put apple at the center of alleged
CIA hacking efforts the documents
released under vault 7 dark matter
reveals some of the tools used to access
macs and iphones these include infected
Thunderbolt 2 ethernet adapters that
plugged into the computers and custom
versions of iOS infected with malware
this is the second time in less than a
month that WikiLeaks claims to have
documents detailing government hacking
techniques on March 7th the site
released thousands of alleged CIA
documents that describe how they broke
into smart phones TVs and computers
what's interesting about this
particularly is that it specifically
targets Apple devices according to the
documents the CIA has had apple devices
on their radar since the inception of
the iPhone WikiLeaks said it's likely
the CIA accessed Apple products and
infected them by interdicting mail
orders opening infecting and resending
leaving the United States the CIA
responded by reiterating the statement
from earlier in March it's the CIA's job
to be innovative cutting-edge and first
line of defense in protecting this
country from enemies abroad and for more
