Appl no longer makes a 17 inch laptop so
the new updated version of the 15-inch
MacBook Pro is as big as you're gonna
get for now the aluminum unibody designs
for thinner and lighter than before and
the keyboard has been shifted to a
flatter design and the touchpad Apple
calls it a trackpad has doubled in
surface area now that point is
especially important as it's one area
where no PC maker can touch Apple no pun
intended
initially that touch bar control strip
that sits above the keyboard was limited
to supporting Apple apps built into Mac
OS and a handful of third-party apps but
that list is finally growing Spotify has
added music playback transport controls
with play pause search and track skip
buttons while Photoshop has much deeper
touch bar integration brushes for
example allows you to select the size or
a pasady of the brush on the touch bar
and even use your finger to scrub
through color options the big screen
here feels even larger than it is
because it goes nearly ange to edge
thanks to a new slimmer bezel and the
massive touchpad is one of the great
laptop control surfaces of all time and
the overall highly curated the stetic
mentalism it just gets more impressive
the larger a laptop body and screen goes
but it's also a major investment that
may only make sense if you're a serious
design creative type who can justify the
expense or if you have a generous
employer willing to buy one for you
