next time you're at the theater you may
notice fewer screams distracting you
from the main event that is if Apple's
rumored theater mode delivers on its
promise the new feature finally made its
debut this week not in iOS 10.3 as
expected but on the developers beta
release of watch OS 3.2 for the Apple
watch and while the iphone definitely
needs it most it at least gives us a
preview of how it would actually work on
an Apple device just swipe up from your
quick settings screen and tap on the
Little Theater icon this will
automatically mute the sound of your
watch and deactivate the race to wake
feature that makes the screen line up
when you move your wrist you'll still
receive incoming notifications via
haptic vibration but you'll have to tap
on the screen or press the digital crown
to wake the watch and read them which
may still happen been moving also in the
update a more prominent Siri this is the
first update to incorporate sirikit
which allows developers to tap into Siri
on the watch to embed in third-party
apps much like they had already been
doing in iOS Apple is running also the
beta versions of iOS 10.3 on mobile
devices and Mac OS Sierra ten-point 12.4
on its computers no word yet on when we
can expect watch OS 3.2 to make its
official debut or when we can expect
theater mode in iOS and for the latest
