michaela here in taipei at Computex at
the asus launch we've just seen the
launch of the Zen pad s 8.0 that's an 8
inch tablet that taps into Intel's
processing to give it some incredible
power the Zen pad s is using a 64-bit
Intel z3580 processor along with 4
gigabytes of RAM and according to Asus
it's the first 8 inch tablet to offer
that much processing power and RAM the
screen is a 2 kqx ji-ae
screen that 1536 by 2048 pixels and 324
pixels per square inch which is an
incredible resolution for an 8 inch
product accessories include things like
a power case that will give you up to 15
hours of extra battery life but in true
iso style a lot of their accessories
very fashion-forward including a clutch
case designed to look like quite a
fashion accessory in addition to the S
there's a straight Xin pad 8.0 using a
lower power processor but also coming
with quite a remarkable accessory case
called the audio that offers 5.1
surround sound with six speakers built
into a rear case also says that all of
the zenpad range will come with an LTE
version or a Wi-Fi only version but it
is going to depend on region and
variants within those regions no
information about that yet but we will
update when we have that to hand the s
in the en pad s of course means stylus
these n stylus as an accessory it's an
optional accessory but it has been built
specifically for the Zen pad s 8.0 it
does include a hundred and twenty-four
points of pressure and comes with a one
point two millimeter stylus head with
Computex running in Taipei right through
