the aura doesn't look too different from
other toy drones but it's controller
trade sticks for fingertips the
quadcopter is controlled entirely with a
glove using hand gestures this is a
prototype but the final product will
perform the same when it arrives this
fall the drone will auto launch it once
paired with the glove and then all it
takes is raising and lowering and
tilting your hand to fly it around the
idea is that by eliminating the
traditional controls for something more
intuitive anyone will be able to pilot
it battery life is expected to be around
eight minutes and it's protective cage
not only saves it from crashes but
allows you to roll it on the ground up
walls and across ceilings it'll also
have a headless mode meaning no matter
what direction the drone is facing it
will always fly in the direction you
want it to and it will have height as
well as distance limitations for added
safety again look for it this fall for
around $100
