Bosh will bring it's connected coffee maker refrigerator oven dishwasher and washer dryer to the US beginning this year it's pretty cool how these all connect to Bosh's home connect app you can control different functions such as preheating your oven setting your washer or dryer and even starting your coffeemaker right from your app now these appliances aren't going to come cheap Bosch has already released its connected coffeemaker and it's priced at $3,100 the other appliances don't have prices quite yet but we'll find out more throughout the year as they're launched Bosch also announced that it will work with other smart home platforms with its connected appliances for example the coffeemaker and oven will be voice-activated thanks to Alexa so you can say Alexa tell home connect to make me a cup of coffee the oven will also work with the Nest Learning Thermostat so if the thermostat detects that you're not home but the ovens on will automatically turn off your oven and send you an alert
