this is the freestyle boses new 100 2995 earbud style headphone which comes in indigo and ice blue and complements the existing IE 2 SI e2i and mi e 2 i in ear headphones but does not replace them hi I'm David karna and welcome to another C net headphone video review in this case what you're looking at here is really some small cosmetic changes and a rebranding of an existing product rather than a truly new product in some ways this is Bo's attempt to loosen up a bit and appeal to a younger audience with more fun i catching color choices the earphone itself is probably most similar to boses s eye-to-eye sports model but it has a different core design and isn't water resistant like that model is as with all of boses at your bud sale headphones this is the in-ear headphone for people who don't like to have ear tips jammed into their ears the buds are designed to sit loosely in your ears but they are held in place by boses stay here tips which feature a wing like design and come in three different sizes I really like their fit and the medium size stay your tips fit my ears well and kept the buds locked in I think most people will find these earphones very comfortable but because of their open design they do let in a lot of sound so they're not good for noisy environments in terms of features there's an integrated remote with microphone for cell phone calls this is an Apple friendly headphone so not all the remotes features will work with Android and Windows phones but you can still make calls with the headset a nice carrying case is included which it should be at this price point the sound is decent that you can get headphones that sound better for the money Bose does a good job making smooth sounding headphones that are pretty well balanced with fairly strong bass and good detail but they're not the most exciting or refined sounding headphones that said they make most music genres sound good which is why I like to call them safe headphones and most people outside of audio files should be pleased with their sound quality at 12999 that freecell is a bit expensive but they really are a good headphone for people who want an in-ear fed phone but don't want to have that tip jammed into their ear canal I'm David Connolly those the Bose freecell earbuds thanks for watching
