did you buy a TV recently are you
looking to upgrade the sound quality for
not very much money hi I'm ty Pendlebury
from CNET and today I'm looking at the
Boston Acoustics TV one sound stand this
is an all-in-one unit designed to sit
underneath your TV and it connects via a
single cable and it also lets you listen
to your phone or other device wirelessly
via bluetooth
compared to other sound stands the
Boston Acoustics is a little smaller and
a lot lighter than other models though
the company says it will still hold a
50-inch TV comfortably in terms of
cosmetics it's not much to look at but
it's definitely functional with plenty
of controls on top the remote control is
not that great it feels a bit spongy but
the company suggests using your TV
remote anyway compared to the Sony HDX T
1 at the same $300 price it misses out
on features like HDMI and NFC pairing
but it rivals it for sound quality and
is even better for music listening this
TV one only has two speakers and lacks a
subwoofer so isn't able to compete for
movie sound if that's predominantly what
you're looking for as an easy upgrade
the boston acoustics will beat the sound
of almost any TV on the market which
makes it almost a no-brainer for the
money this has been type in a brief for
