hey guys I'm Sharon Profis cnet.com here
at 3d systems where the company is
showing off their 3d printed drone this
is a great project for hobbyists who can
complete it in just a weekend's time so
the way it works as you head on over to
cuba Phi's website where you can view
the project and download it from there
then all you have to do is send it to
your 3d printer and wait a few days for
all the parts to be completed then you
put it together and finally you add the
electric component which actually makes
this thing go so once it's all said and
done it can actually fly up to 30 feet
depending on which electric components
you choose this drone that you're
looking at here was actually printed on
this machine the Q pro trio reason being
it's their only machine that can handle
the new nylon material which as they say
is ideal for this project otherwise you
can print it on other machines using
different materials but it might not be
as durable when it comes crashing down
to the ground you can download this
project right now or you can wait until
the spring when the company will release
a varied versions of this exact project
for cnet.com I'm Sharon Profis at CES
