hi Luke Lancaster here with CNET and
today we're building the Star Wars Lego
slave 1 at almost 2000 pieces the slave
1 Lego kit is impressively large there
are 2 main sections to the ship and
you'll start out by building the base
the two halves of the base clip together
and the cockpit and fuselage get built
on top it really starts to take shape
after about 2 hours of building the
final step in assembly is clipping on
the side pieces of the fuselage and that
put our build time for the slave 1 at a
little over 5 hours in 20 minutes the
kit comes with four Lego minifigs you
get Boba Fett himself a storm trooper a
cloud city guard and Han Solo who
conveniently fit inside a slab of
Carbonite for delivery to Jabba the
slave one has its horizontal landing
mode and its vertical flight mode the
wings are carefully rigged to
automatically rotate based on how the
ship is oriented and the cockpit swings
around - but you'll have to rotate that
by hand the ship features moveable
weapons arrays - hidden inside concealed
compartments there's even a cargo door
perfect the stowing han frozen in
carbonite slave 1 also comes with a
stand and name plate which displays the
ship in his half metre tall flight
orientation that's about a foot and a
half for all your Imperial subjects out
there thanks for watching and be sure to
