you may start to freak out if you ever
forget your password to log into your
iMac or your macbook but it's really not
that big of a deal all Macs actually
include a built in password reset tool
that's incredibly easy to use to get
started you will need to restart your
computer by clicking restart when you
see the gray screen press and hold the
command + R keys at the same time until
you see the Apple logo this will boot
you into recovery mode click the
utilities option in the top menu bar
select terminal and type reset password
which should all be one word and then
press Enter feel free to close up the
terminal window and behind it you will
find the reset password utility from
here select the user account you want to
reset enter a new password or leave it
blank and click Save then all you have
to do is restart your computer from the
Apple menu and log in with your new
password it's as easy as that for more
