CNET How To - Get rid of bloatware on the Samsung Galaxy S4

one of the biggest criticisms the
Samsung Galaxy s4 has received is that
it's kind of full of bloatware
pre-installed apps from Samsung or your
carrier that are usually more trouble
than they're worth
they get in the way they take a valuable
space and you can't even uninstall these
apps without rooting your phone
fortunately you can shut them down and
make them disappear here's how head to
settings more and head to the
application manager swipe over to the
all pane and find your blody app that
you want to get rid of like maybe a TMT
navigator instead of uninstalling it
what you can do is disable it
uncheck the notifications box then hit
disable you can repeat this process for
any other pre-installed apps that you
might want to disable too now to see if
it worked
head back to your app drawer and notice
that the icons for apps you disabled are
gone that's better now before you go on
a bloatware disabling rampage a word of
warning
be sure not to disable any system
processes which usually look like this
if you do your phone will act a little
wonky but no worries if you make this
mistake you can always re-enable the
process or any other apps you disabled
back over here that's all there is to it
