I think there's a lot of really cool stuff going on in Windows 8 but one thing that Microsoft has definitely dropped the ball on is helping you figure out how to get back your Start screen from desktop mode hi i'm seth rosenblatt foreseen it and today i'm going to show you three easy ways to get back to your Start screen from desktop so here we are on the desktop and if we close all the windows that are open it's apparent that this looks a lot like Windows 7 but where do we go from here we can pull out our charms bar and hit the start button that takes us back to the start screen we can also go to a recently used apps bar and hit the start screen button at the bottom the third way is using your Windows key on your keyboard if you have one it will return you to your last used app and that could be the start screen and there's three ways to get back to the start screen from desktop mode in windows 8 for seen it I'm Seth Rosenblatt
