hey guys Jason Cipriani here AC know how
to you contributor and today we're going
to take a look at how to hide the
newsstand icon on your iOS device you'll
need to be running iOS 5 or higher as
well as download this free Mac or
Windows app from this website once you
have that app installed and running
you'll need to connect your iOS device
to your computer the app will let you
know when a device is not connected go
ahead and connect your device you'll see
the device name show up and click on
hide newsstand now there is some bugs
and it doesn't always work on the first
try so this is one of my numerous
attempts to reconnect my device and
finally hopefully we can get it there we
go now the new Stan icon is turned into
a folder that is titled magic and as
you'll see that new Stan icon is within
that folder now one thing you'll notice
is the icon doesn't show a preview in
the folder because essentially we're a
folder within a folder now you're not
going to see the icon but when you tap
on it you will see the icon in there you
could treat this as a normal folder you
could rename it move the icons around
load it up with a whole bunch of other
icons and there you have it make sure to
