one of the most practical ways to use
Amazon echo right now is as a music
player as long as your Prime member you
have free access to a huge library of
music and for everyone there's also I
Heart Radio and tune in you might
already know that playing a song or
album is as easy as requesting it but if
you want Alexa to choose your music you
can just ask her like this Alexa play
some upbeat music a prime playlist for
pop 50 great pop songs of the 2000s
Alexa stop now if you have your phone
handy head over to the Amazon echo app
and you'll see the album art show up in
the home feed tap it and you'll have a
few options first of all you can control
the music using the app instead of using
voice commands in the next tab you can
view the list of songs coming up in the
playlist and if you tap one it will
start playing that song and finally in
the history tab you can view all the
songs that recently played and you'll
see more options like creating a new
station for that song don't forget that
you can go beyond prime music if you
want live local radio just ask Alexa
play star 101.3 on iHeartRadio star
101.3 on iHeartRadio
you can also play podcasts like Alexa
play the serial podcast getting the
latest episode of serial here it is from
Tunis support for serial comes from
audible a gateway Alexa stop
unfortunately those are the only extra
audio options you have right now but
hopefully we'll see more things like
Spotify and Pandora as Alexa grows up if
you're an early adopter of Amazon echo
and you have some of your own tips you
want to share hit me up on Twitter and
