good things can come in little packages
that's what Apple's bedding reports of a
smaller sibling to the full-sized iPad
have been circulating for months but the
rumors will probably be put to rest
Tuesday with the introduction of an ipad
mini the big rumor is that will have a
7.8 5-inch screen to put that in
comparison the current ipad is nine
point seven inches so it's noticeably
smaller and you'll typically have
something that's a little bit closer to
a kindle fire or a Galaxy Nexus long
time Apple observers may recall that
Steve Jobs famously rejected the idea of
a 7-inch device so why the change of
heart he once totally went against the
whole idea of having a smaller device
saying people we need to shave their
fingers down of a sandpaper to use it at
the same time competitors really prove
that that smaller device can kind of
work even in a crowded marketplace apple
offers something unique the Apple is
introducing this suppose that ipad mini
in october twenty third which is also
the same day that the microsoft surface
goes on sale and then a few days later
windows 8 actually appears this is going
to be a very crowded space for consumers
entrenched in the apple ecosystem the
ipad mini may be an easier sell it
easily syncs with your other eye devices
it gives you more screen real estate
than an iphone and it costs less than an
ipad but that doesn't mean it'll be a
bargain prices for the petite ipad are
expected to range between two to four
hundred dollars in San Francisco I'm
