this is van rubin with CNET news we stopped by the little bit's store in new york on West Broadway to check out their latest kit called gizmos and gadgets which is launching in time for the holidays we spoke with Emily Tudor a designer for little bits who showed us what this kit can do we have a brand new user experience with a new booklet that has step-by-step instructions for 15-plus projects and all the projects have a remix that you can make as well so the idea of remix is taking a project that you've made thinking about how you can change it or how you can totally flip it on its head and then turning it into something new and different I got to build a remote-controlled car called a bit buy one of the many gizmos and toys you can create with this set we're really hoping that we can take our users on a journey from being complete beginners to becoming inventors with endless ideas so the way that we're doing that is walking them through a project having them remix it and then further challenging them to actually remix on their own and add their own ideas to it the gizmos and gadgets kit is available for $200 online at the little bit store amazon and a few other places this is Ben Rubin with CNET news thanks for watching
