ok glass if you're looking for a way to
spend your tax refund google has an idea
on april fifteenth starting at nine a.m.
eastern a limited supply of Google glass
will be available for purchase to any
adult in the US with fifteen hundred
dollars to spare it looks like Google is
going to be releasing a public version
to everybody at large later this year
and that they're going to want to have
updated hardware for them so they're
probably getting rid of these Explorer
headsets while they can google
introduced the first edition of glass
dubbed Explorer about a year ago and
initially restricted its sale to select
groups like app developers currently
Google glass is being explored for a
wide variety of uses these include
medical use cases orts teams first
responders police and fire departments
the device functions like a smartphone
letting you read emails navigate with
maps and search the web users can also
take pictures and video which has led to
privacy concerns and etiquette questions
with glass it's really challenging to
sort of figure out when it's appropriate
to use when it's inappropriate to use a
recent study showed that seventy two
percent of Americans are not interested
in buying glass there's a lot more
things that I want to do with fifteen
hundred dollars then get on the internet
I already have a smartphone Google is
expected to release an updated version
of glass to the general public later
