don't even realize it a lot of kids like

to play in this way they can actually
use technology to learn the students are
joining millions of others around the
world during this computer science
education week in an hour of code in one
hour you learn that programming a
computer creating technology is easy
it's fun and even if you're eight years
old you can enjoy it and could perhaps
build the skills kids will need to snag
future high tech jobs you want to make
sure that our kids are ready for the
futures our kids can actually go ahead
and have these high paying jobs 10 years
from now as part of the event

classroom chats even President Obama
tried his hand at coding and for other
grown-ups Apple is holding workshops at
its stores but the hour of code isn't
just about one hour of one week
organizers are hoping it has a more
lasting effect by motivating schools to
change what they teach in computer
classes to your traditional computer
class that teaches you just how to use
technology is increasingly irrelevant
and the computer programming computer
