while amazon has an exhaustive collection of just about everything they don't have it all for those items you covet from other vendors you can now add them to your amazon wish list from amazon's main page click on the wish list tab on the far right side when the menu drops down select wish from any website now you can install the amazon wish list button to your browser it works on Firefox Internet Explorer Safari google chrome and even your ipad after you click install you may have to restart the browser but otherwise you're ready to start using it the wish list button will appear differently in different browsers but it works the same now when you're shopping on another website pull up an item you'd like to have and click the button you can then choose an image for your item add comments for your friends and family and then choose which list added your wish list gift list wedding registry or baby registry sure might take the surprise out of receiving gifts but this way you get exactly what you want in San Francisco I'm Kara Tsuboi cnet.com for CBS News
