texting a voice memo sometimes the best
option when you don't want to actually
call someone or you just want to express
something quickly like a grocery list
there are a handful of third-party apps
out there that provide this service but
don't bother paying for them or
downloading them the voice memo feature
of your smartphone is really all you
need to get started on an iPhone open
the voice memos app and press the red
record button to record your message hey
Jared I'll see in about five minutes
once you're finished and go to your list
of recorded memos choose the one you
want and hit share you can either email
it or send it as a message which really
means by text message into your friends
name and number and that's it the file
is sent is a QuickTime file that can be
easily open through the text message app
