app that connects parents and caregivers
in more than 14 cities with more on the
way the site can work one of two ways
you can post an ad describing your child
and the maximum hourly rate you'll pay
for the job and interested sitters will
respond or you can sign in through
facebook to see if anyone in your
network has used one of the sitters it's
a way to get recommendations from people
you know to connect with the sitter even
for an initial over the phone interview
will cost $15 each time or you can pay
an annual premium to reach out to as
many sitters as you like sittercity Calm
and Carry calm work in a similar fashion
but both are more widely available
nationwide they also specialize on
placing nannies for longer term care and
the latter can even help you find pet
sitters or housekeepers neither these
sites tap into social networks like
urbansitter but they are longer
established and appear to have millions
of happy parents on their side in San
