now the 2012 is coming to an end why not
show your smartphone a little love with
some simple maintenance to keep it
humming along in 2013 first take stock
of all the applications on your phone
how many apps does a normal person use
probably a lot fewer than they actually
have installed on their phone those apps
take up space especially if you've got
notifications or alerts running in the
background delete any apps you don't use
you can always reinstall them later you
should also remove anything else from
your phone that is chewing up memory and
likely making your phone sluggish text
messages emails voicemails and the worst
offenders photos they're not really
running down your battery but you might
find that you want to get rid of them
and you'll have a lot more space for
other things that you do you use and
listen to like apps and music clearing
your cache can also improve your phone's
performance to do this you may have to
go into the settings for specific
applications such as your browser
another option use an app to keep tabs
on your phone once your smartphone is
ready for 2013 you can get started on
those new year's resolutions in San
