hey there I'm Josh Goldman with Sina and this is the ion air pro 3 an action cam that gives you several reasons not to go the GoPro route at just 5 ounces the camera is super light and the bullet shaped body is waterproof down to 49 feet without housing to start recording you just slide the big switch forward and it gives you a little vibration to let you know it's on the pro three can do full HD at 30 or 60 frames per second and 720p at 120 60 or 30 frames per second at bit rates up to about 22 megabits per second and it can do single and burst photo shooting and time-lapse as well a desktop application is used for adjusting all settings but a switch on back lets you quickly change on the go between your full HD and 720p settings also this back cap that you remove to get to this back panel is actually a Wi-Fi module I on calls a pod with the Wi-Fi pod you can connect to your iOS or Android device to do things like view and download shots to your device and start recording remotely but other pods are available for adding a long-distance remote for controlling up to 8 cameras or for access to the external mic jack as for mounting the camera you can use ions cam lock mounts for quick connecting between different mounts or you can just use anything with a standard quarter-inch tripod mount so how's the video write well overall it's very good and slightly improved from the pro two scenes still look a little soft when viewed at large screen sizes but for viewing on smartphones and tablets or on a monitor small sizes the results are excellent I'm Josh Goldman and that's a quick look at the ion air pro 3
