hey what's up everybody its Ben Fox Rubin with CNN I'm here with Akram co-founder of venmo and we're here at Grand Central we're gonna be talking to people about how they use venmo or if they've even heard about it you excited yeah very all right let's do it okay have you heard of venmo yes yes actually do you use usually when we each other money we'll put some have you ever heard of venmo oh yeah he's all the time like what do you use it for like if I go out with friends and everyone tries to use like ten thousand credit cards I'm like that no I'll just pay on Benbow yeah that's fine we can we can drop the f-bomb right yeah that's totally totally normal I probably use it but I'm not sure why do you want to pull out your phone and see if you have it I've only do on boom another happy venmo user have you ever heard of venmo of what venmo no I have not okay at the end of the interview so what do you use like if you have to pay a friend back some money like not a lot like fifteen dollars or something usually what do you do I would pay them the money like like cash are you of course your day than letting them demo venmo as in ven vo ven mo i am not familiar with it I haven't heard of it okay what do you think it might be I think it might be some kind of a new cell phone yeah or maybe some kind of software grantee virus antivirus software or a new cell phone have you ever heard of venmo yes just last night just last night yeah explain my boss was talking about asking if I was Ven knowing someone as like no so what would you tell the venmo people about their app it sounds like a neat idea but it's probably just not for me right now yeah all right well anyway this is a chrome he's a co-founder of venmo co-founder of then he sold venmo a while ago so maybe he can buy you dinner or something hell yeah and where should we go what do you think ven most stands for doing it I've thought about that what does venmo mean do you know like what it stands for I have no idea but I'd like to know what would you guess with entry not all right yeah so where this is the clothes like we're basically done great so what does been most stand for vendor meets mobile so vendor mobile to combine his venmo vendor mobile that's much more boring than whatever she was going for yeah I know I wish we were that creative back then right right I don't think anybody would have used it anyway alright thanks for doing this man really appreciate it alright I'm Ben Fox Rubin with CNN thanks for watching everybody
