hey this is Josh Lowensohn first scene at taking a look at the xbox one this is a brand new console from microsoft it is the successor to the xbox 360 what's new basically everything we have brand new Kinect brand new console brand new controller a big deal blu-ray slot-loading drive right in the front this means you can watch movies it also ties into your home television so you can actually watch live TV switch channels see a guide all that stuff in one screen there's also voice activation and controls through the new Kinect that means you can basically just switch between a game and a television show or any other app that you're running a big other new feature is split screen so you can have one app running alongside a game the example they use is you could be watching a football game and look up sports scores it's pretty cool so we don't have a price or release date for this but Microsoft and said we'll know more at e3 which is in just a couple weeks so here from Redmond this is josh lowensohn first kind of eyes on with the xbox one
